Based in the Danish capital, the largest documentary film festival in the world is slated for March 15-25. It is devoted to supporting independent and innovative films, and presenting contemporary non-fiction, art cinema and experimental films, Titrhonar.ir reported. The Iranian film is nominated to compete with nine others from Austria, the US, Germany, Norway, Canada, Ireland and Russia in the F:ACT Award Section, dedicated to films devoted to documentary filmmaking and investigative journalism. Khoshdast’s debut documentary centers on four young women in prison who share their life stories, revealing how each landed up there.
