Quest for Light

A series of calligraphic paintings by Hamedeh Mashiyati are on view at Vali Art Gallery.
Running through March 11, the exhibition features a series of abstract calligraphies with deep intergalactic spaces in the background, Honaronline reported.
With his works, Mashiyati is trying to convey the concepts of infinity and the unending cycle of life.
“My works reflect the dark distortions of my unconscious mind. They are painted in a quest for light and self-knowledge,” she said in a statement.
Vali Art Gallery is situated at No. 72, Khoddami Street near Vanak Square.
