Ancient Bas-Reliefs on Canvas

Raha Rezaei’s painting exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday at Felestin (Palestine) Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran. Under the title ‘Ancient Land’, the works depict ancient bas-reliefs from different regions of the country, ISNA reported. One of numerous examples of bas-relief in Iran can be found in Persepolis (in Fars Province) which was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (550–330 BC). The venue, located at No. 74, Mozaffar Brothers Street, north of Felestin Square, will show the works through March 10.
