De Facto Relationship

Se Noqteh Theater is hosting the play ‘Great Fury of Philip Hotz’ directed by Ali Zarrin-Nahad.
The piece is written by Swiss playwright Max Rudolf Frisch (1911-1991). 
Frisch’s works focus on problems of identity, individuality, responsibility, morality and political commitment. Use of irony is a significant feature of most of his publications.
Great Fury of Philip Hotz depicts the marriage of a couple who are still living together despite having serious problems for seven years. They try assorted ways to put an end to their problems but to no avail. Yet they cannot part ways because they are much dependent on each other.
