IFLA President to Attend 80th Anniv. of National Library

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Library and Archives of Iran next week, Gloria Pérez-Salmerón  president of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions has been invited to attend. “Pérez-Salmerón will visit different sections of National Library and sign a memorandum of understanding with the library,” Mehr News Agency quoted Mozaffar Pasdar-Shirazi, the official in charge of the week-long anniversary program (February 24-30), as saying.
A series of meetings are also scheduled for the Tehran event.
