The play ‘If You Were to Die’ written by French novelist and playwright Florian Zeller opened on February 14 at Independent Theater in Tehran.
Directed by actress and theater director Samaneh Zandinejad, it is the story of a woman whose husband has just passed away. He was a writer and has left many notes.
To ease her pain and grief at the loss, the woman goes through his notes and books. Enjoying reading the notes, however, she comes across a story about the love of a middle-aged writer and a young woman. Later she finds some other notes about a woman matching the female character of the story. All of these create a strong suspicion in the grieving widow.
Reza Behboudi, Setareh Pesyani, Kazem Sayahi and Elham Korda are in the cast of the play that will remain on stage through March 1, Tiwall.com wrote.
The venue is located at No. 50 at the corner of Zand-e-Vakil Alley and Razi Street.
