The much applauded film by Vahid Jalilvand ‘No Date, No Signature,’ hit the screens across the country on Wednesday.

It is Jalilvand’s second feature film and tells the story of a respected forensic pathologist getting involved in a car accident, where an 8-year-old boy is injured.

The next morning, the boy’s dead body is brought for an autopsy in the hospital where the pathologist works. Although the results of the first diagnosis indicate food poisoning, the doctor believes he is responsible for the boy’s death.

The 104-minute film stars Hediyeh Tehrani, Amir Aqaee, Saeed Dakh, Alireza Ostadi and Navid Mohammadzadeh, Cinematicket wrote.

‘No Date, No Signature’ was premiered last February at the 35th Fajr Film Festival and won three awards including best supporting actor for Navid Mohammadzadeh and best directing for Jalilvand.

Jalilvand and Mohammadzadeh also won prizes in the same category at the Horizons section of the 74th Venice Film Festival in Italy last September.

Charsou, Azadi, Megamall, and Mellat Cineplexes as well as Iranian, Javan, and Mandana Cinemas are among the venues screening the film in Tehran.
