Hashem Eslamian, better known as Ayhan, who sings in the Azeri language, will hold a concert in collaboration with three singers from the neighboring Republic of Azerbaijan.
Baloglan Ashrefov, Namiq Qaracuxurlu and Elchin Huseyn performed a concert with Ayhan in summer at the Ministry of Interior Auditorium in Tehran. The event was well-received and their next program is slated for February 23.
The performance was first slated for Feb. 22, but was postponed to the day after to avoid coinciding with the mourning ceremony related to the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima (AS), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Ayhan is the vocalist of Reyhan ensemble which will perform at the concert. The ensemble is led by Hojjat Mabzoul who also arranges the pieces, Honaronline reported. Based in Ardebil, capital of Ardebil Province, Reyhan has a total of 12 musicians.
In addition to the famous folkloric songs and pieces performed at the last event, "we will sing a number of new songs," Ayhan said. A few pieces from his 2016 album 'Maral' will be among the repertoire.
Tickets are available at Iranconcert.com. The auditorium is located on Gomnam Avenue, north of Fatemi Square.
