Niloofar Publication has released the book ‘One Hundred and Ten Letters From Two Simins’.

Compiled by contemporary Persian Poet Mansour Owji, the book - as the title says - contains 110 letters written by the icon of modern Persian poetry Simin Behbahani (1927-2014) and  Persian academic, novelist, fiction writer and translator Simin Daneshvar (1921-2012)  to Owji.

According to Mehr News Agency, the letters are not only about personal matters. They carry the history of the time they were written in, the oldest of which goes back to 1980, one year after the Islamic Revolution, and give the reader an image of the ups and downs of those days.

Moreover, in their letters the two highly respected women  comment on the literary works of their time.
