Spilet Alborz Travel Agency has planned a 4-day tour of Shahdad District in southeast Kerman Province.
The renowned yardangs of Shahdad Desert and the city of Shahdad on the western fringes of a vast desert are on the itinerary.
For travelers coming from west to east, the city of Shahdad is the last major township before they see the marvelous desert of Kalout and its extraordinary yardangs, high natural sand and pebble sculptures carved by wind.
Visitors will leave Tehran late Thursday by train to Kerman. Sightseeing in the city starts Friday morning. By noon the group will arrive in Shahdad.
Saturday is solely for exploring the desert of Kalout and its attractions. On the last day (Sunday) the group will return home and on the way see another series of Kerman attractions. Details are available at Spilet.com.
