Folkloric Patchworks

Graphic designer and installation artist Homa Delvaray is holding an exhibition of her latest installations at Aaran Art Gallery.
Works are made from pieces of cloth, paper, texts and metal pieces, representing some Iranian common beliefs, superstitions and dubious teachings in tradition, Gallery Info reported.
The texts and pieces are collected from various sources in folklore, geomancy and talismans. Delvaray has glued them together and created a series of patchwork sculptures and one artist’s book, a work of art in the general form of book.
Artists’ books that maintain the traditional structure of a book are also known as book arts or book works.
Aaran Gallery is located at No 5, Lolagar Alley, Neauphle Le Chateau Street.
