Unseen Photos of Iraq-Iran War

Close to 100 photos from the 1980-88 Iraq-Iran war not displayed before, will be displayed in a group exhibition at Salam Art Gallery in Tehran.

‘Cold Fire’ is the name of the exhibit that will open on Friday. It is curated by Ahmad Reza Nouri and Jasem Ghazbanpour, Mehr News Agency reported.

Participating photographers include Mehrzad Arshadi, Mohammad Hossein Heydari, Jahangir Razmi, Ali Fereydouni, Bahram Mohammadifard, Sassan Moayedi and Arabali Hashemi as well as Ghazbanpour.

The exhibit will run until Feb. 16 and also feature photos by Saeed Janbozorgi who lost his life in the military conflagration imposed by Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Salam Art Gallery is located at the commercial complex of Sam Center on Fayyazi Street (better known by its old name Fereshteh) in north Tehran.
