Malaysia University Offering Post-Graduate Persian Courses

University Putra Malaysia will enroll Persian language students for master’s and doctoral degrees in its next academic year that starts in September.
Department of Foreign Languages in UPM began holding Persian language courses for under graduate levels last year.
“In addition, the university will conduct research on Iran’s culture and civilization and hold workshops and seminars focusing on Persian literature,” IRNA reported Scientific Counselor of Iranian Students in East Asia, Abbas Qanbari-Baghestan, as saying.
Based in Selangor state, UPM is one of the leading research universities in the East Asian country. At its Department of Foreign Languages, it also offers courses in Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Bengali, French, Spanish, German, Tamil, Burmese, Vietnamese and Russian.
