Shano Theater will hold a stage reading of the dark farce ‘The Lord of Hell’ by American playwright Sam Shepard on February 3.

The story is set in a dairy farm where the heifer-breeding Frank and Emma live in rustic isolation. But their peace is shattered by the visits of some friends. The first visitor is Graig Haynes, an old friend of Frank’s who seems to be on the run from a secret project gone awry. He wants to keep a low profile, but the massive discharge of static electricity whenever he touches anyone makes that scenario unlikely.

Masoumeh Aziz-Mohammadi, Mir-Nader Mazloumi and Mahmoud Esmaeilian are among the actors reading the roles on stage, Tiwall.com reported.

The venue is at No. 3, Behnam Alley, Vesal Shirazi Street.
