Serbian ensemble ‘Renaissance’ will hold a concert at Roudaki Hall on January 17.

Founded in 1968, the group usually focuses on the music of the  Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque. Sometimes it also performs modern music using ancient instruments, Mehr News Agency reported.

The current lineup of performers include Dragan Mlađenović, Georges Grujić and Ljubomir Dimitrijević on woodwind instruments, Zoran Kostadinović on the vielle, Miomir Ristić and Srđan Stanić on the fiddle and the viol, Darko Karajić on the instruments from the family of lutes, and Veljko Nikolić-Papa Nick on the percussion instruments as well as singers Marcella Francesco-Lukić (mezzo-soprano) and Predrag Doković (countertenor).
