Sheis Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of Persian paintings and miniature.
Titled Golshan (flower garden), the exhibit is about floral paintings by Shohreh Razavi and Somayyeh Seyfi, Tiwall.com reported.
Among the works are also paintings in the style of Gol-o-Bolbol (rose et rossignol – rose & nightingale), a decorative expression in painting floral motifs, usually seen as page illuminations and on mirror cases and carpets. The style conveys a connotation of love.
Golshan opened January 12 and will run for six days at the gallery located at No. 10, East Shirzad Alley, south of Daneshjou Park.
