Damahi Band at Azadi Tower

Concert Hall of Azadi Tower will host two performances by Damahi Band on January 17 as  part of the Fajr Music Festival (January 10-20).  Founded in 2014 by Dara Daraei, Damahi has a free approach in incorporating the elements of Iranian folk music with jazz, rock, flamenco, Indian music and many other styles, the band’s website wrote. The group members include bass player and band leader, Hamzeh Yeganeh keyboard and banjo player, Ebrahim Alavi guitar and oud player, Shayan Fat’hi on drums and percussions, and Reza Koulaghani the band’s vocalist, The iconic tower is located in the middle of Azadi Square, on the western end of a major junction by the same name.
