Zhiwaar Tour has planned a tour to familiarize visitors with the life and works of celebrated Persian poet Nima Yushij (1895-1960).
The tour is planned for Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm, and includes visits to 30-Tir Street and the famous Naderi Café in Jomhouri Street in south Tehran and the poet’s house in Dezashhib district in the north.
The program also includes a visit to his burial place in the southern district of Rey. The poet was later buried in his native village of Yush, Nur County, Mazandaran Province, north of Iran. Nima is considered the father of modern Persian poetry as he founded the new movement in Persian poetry that has come to be known as New Poetry or Nimaic Poetry in Iran.
