Filmmaker, painter and calligrapher Mohammad-Ali Sajjadi, 58, is to hold a painting exhibition at Sarvenaz Art Gallery in Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, January 20-29.
The exhibition ‘Raga Pot’ features 20 paintings Sajjadi created over 15 years, Mehr News Agency Reported.
His works are in the context of his research on famous writer and translator Sadeq Hedayat (1903-1951) with focus on the writer’s magnum opus ‘The Blind Owl’. The paintings are his interpretation of Hedayat’s character.
