CAMA (Contemporary And Modern Art) Gallery opened its new branch in London in late November by showcasing 30 exquisite artworks by 30 acclaimed Iranian artists. The branch will display the artworks through January 29.

On show are artworks of renowned artists including veteran painter and designer Behzad Shishegaran, 65,  sculptor and painter Parviz Tanavoli, 79, poet and painter Sohrab Sepehri (1928-1980), sketch artist and fashion illustrator Monir Farmanfarmaian, 93, sculptor Parviz Kalantari, 86, as well as painter, sculptor, translator, and theatre director Bahman Mohasses (1931- 2010), the gallery website reported.

An untitled painting (acrylic and straw on canvas, 2009) belonging to the collection of ‘Line and Relevance’ by Kalantari, ‘Inscription’ (Acrylic on canvas, 2016) by Shishegaran, an untitled painting from Sohrab Sepehri’s Tree-Trunk series (Oil on canvas, 1970), ‘Giants’ (mixed media on cardboard, 1966) by Bahman Mohasses, ‘Heech and Chair’ a 2009 painting of a bronze sculpture by Tanavoli, an untitled 2004 painting by Farmanfarmaian are some of the works the gallery is exhibiting.

Hossein Ali Zabehi, Hossein Mahjoubi, Fereydoun Omidi, Bita Vakili, Reza Hosseini,  Nasrollah Afjei, Massoud Arabshahi, Manouchehr Motabar, Ali Nasir, Ebrahim Faraji, Jamshid Samavatian, Maryam Salour, Taha Behbahani, , Abdolreza Daryabeigi,  Manouchehr Yektai, , Jafar Rouhbakhsh, Mohammad Ehsaei, Sirak Melkonian, Mansour Ghandriz, Nasser Oveysi, Sadegh Tabrizi and  Nosratollah Moslemian are among the other prominent artists whose works are on display at the venue.

Based in Cyprus, the gallery also has a branch in Tehran.
