Mastour ensemble is due to stage a concert on December 22 at Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
The all-female classical band, with Faezeh Zare-Rafi as the singer, will perform exclusively for women. The concert has been warmly welcomed by music fans as all the tickets were sold out, Sazoghalam.ir wrote.
The ensemble comprises musicians Mona Saeedi on kamancheh, Shiva Qahraman-Nejad on tar, Elaheh Shafiei on setar and rubab, Avin Ahmadi on oud, Nasim Ana’mzadeh on tonbak, and Mahnaz At’hari on daf and cajón.
The venue is across from Niavaran Park on Pasdaran Street.
