Italian musicians are to perform live at Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran on December 22 and 23.
Gianlugi Trovesi on Clarinet and Gianni Coscia on accordion will perform a duet on Dec. 22, Tiwall.com reported.
Trovesi, 72, is a jazz saxophonist, clarinetist and composer. Born in Lombardy, a region in northern Italy, he has been a major jazz player in Italy and other European countries. Coscia, 86, is an Italian actor and jazz accordionist.
The two artists have been cooperating since 1995 and have released three albums.
In another duet performance slated for Dec. 23, Italian sisters Natascia and Raffaella Gazzana will deliver a 90-minute concert.
The Gazzana sisters were born in the province of Frosinone. They formed the internationally acclaimed ‘Duo Gazzana’ in the mid-1990s.
On the Niavaran stage, Natascia will be on violin while Raffaella will play the piano. The duo has won numerous awards and performed throughout Europe.
The concert hall is located at Farhangsara St., across Niavaran Park, Pasdaran Street.
