Niavaran Cultural Center will be hosting the 2nd visual exhibition of ‘Art For Autism’ from December 15.

In the event, 100 artworks by distinguished artists of calligraphy and page illumination will go on display. Proceeds of the event will go to help build and equip schools for individuals with autism disorder, Honaronline reported. The one-week exhibit is open every day from 10am to 8pm at the venue located at Farhangsara St., across Niavaran Park, Pasdaran St.

Autism spectrum disorder impacts the nervous system. The range and severity of symptoms can vary widely. Common symptoms include difficulty with communication, difficulty in social interaction, obsessive interests and repetitive behaviors.

Early recognition, as well as behavioral, educational and family therapies can  reduce symptoms and support development and learning.
