A journey through a beech forest in Savadkuh County, Mazandaran Province, is planned for Thursday, December 7, by Kalout Travel for those who want to see this part of the ancient Hyrcanian Forests.
The forest is near the village of Sangdeh on the slopes of Kheronero Mountain. To walk among the tall trees and enjoy the musty fragrance of the forest in late fall, visitors are required to wear trekking shoes and bring waterproof jacket, an extra set of clothes, a mat, a meal and one liter of water.
