Iranshahr Art Gallery in Tehran opened a group exhibition ‘30 Sculptures, 30 Sculptors’ on December 1.

With Qodratollah Aqeli as curator, the gallery is showing 30 sculptures by thirty artists from three generations (veterans, middle-aged and young) to help promote development of this field of art, Mehr News Agency reported.

Aqeli hopes the works will be welcomed by a larger group of art enthusiasts as he believes, “we need to know what our sculpturing art has gone through over the years and how it reached its current status.”

Some of the works on display are for sale, and if purchased, they will be replaced by another work by the same artist if the buyers wish.

Fatemeh Emdadian, Bahman Dadkhah, Shahriar Rezaie, Mojtaba Ramzi, Mehdi Shir-Ahmadi, Hamidreza Fotouhi, Behrouz Heshmat, Keivan Beiranvand as well as Aqeli are among the participating sculptors.

Located at No. 69, Sepand St., Azodi St., Karimkhan Ave., the gallery will host the show until December 10.
