Bridging the Gap Between Reality and Truth

Paolo Del Brocco, the CEO of Italian production company Rai Cinema will travel to Tehran to attend the 11th edition of Cinema Verite.

According to the Cinema Verite’s official website, the festival’s mission is to “bridge the gap between reality and truth.

The event comprises three international and three national competition sections, covering short, mid-length and feature documentaries.

The 11th edition of Cinema Verite, organized by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, will be held at Charsou Cineplex in Tehran, from December 10-17. Born in Rome in 1963, Paolo Del Brocco is a graduate in economics and business. He is a university instructor, a journalist and a cinematographer. He started working at Rai in 1991 where he held various positions. He was appointed Rai 2 broadcasting manager in 1992 and eventually went up the progress ladder to become CEO of Rai Cinema.

Brocco will attend Cinema Verite’s International Documentary Film Festival on December 12 to discuss trends in the global television and documentary industry with Iranian documentary makers, Borna News Agency reported.
