Desert and Forest

Kolbeh Tour, a travel agency in the city of Minudasht, Golestan Province, has organized a trip across Semnan Province.

The program is slated for December 5-8 and stretches from Khar-Turan National Park east of Semnan to the Clouds Forest, northwest of the province.

Transportation is by a VIP bus. The trip starts at night allowing travelers to rest and sleep during the journey. In the following morning, they will have breakfast at an eco-camp in the deserts of Khar-Turan. Camel riding, safari cruise and nature walk are included in the second day’s program that ends with a bonfire in the chilly desert night.

The following day, December 7, will be spent sightseeing. Caravanserais, shrines and historical monuments in the area are on the itinerary. Next morning the group will pack up for a major change in climate. They will leave the arid deserts for the Clouds Forest 180 km to the northwest. A walk in the forest will prepare visitors for lunchtime. They will head back home at 4 pm.
