Folk Band ‘Tiar’ to Stage First Concert

Folk band ‘Tiar’ led by daf player Ayda Amiri-Moqaddam, will perform its first concert on December 14 in Tehran.
Andisheh Hall of Hozeh Honari (Art Bureau) located at the intersection of Hafez Avenue and Somayyeh Street will host the performance.
The concert starts at 8 pm. It is a starting point for the tour of the band across the country, according to the news website of Sazoghalam.ir, which covers music events.
Singer of the band is Amir Yousefinejad. Players are Hossein Fazel on santur, Mahzad Kheradmand and Sareh Asadollahi on kamancheh, Yasaman Najmeddin on qanun, Fatemeh Dehqani on oud and percussionist Farideh Sarsangi.
Also playing are Golnaz Khalili and Anahita Ramezani on tar, as well as Lida Baqeri on flute.
The ethnic pieces of the repertoire are arranged by composer Hossein Fazel. Tickets are available at Iranconcert.com.
