Spanish Guitarist to Perform in Tehran

Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer Antonio Rey, 36, will perform pieces from his new album in Tehran, November 20.
Rey is to present a recital of flamenco guitar named after his 2017 album ‘Dos Partes de Mi’ (Two Parts of Me) at Sorna Hall in Tehran belonging to the cultural institute of Tanin Iranian Sorna, a private company producing music albums and organizing concerts, whose name is derived from sorna, an ancient Iranian woodwind instrument.
Starting at 7 pm, the recital will cover pieces of the album namely ‘Dos Paryes de Mi’ (Two Parts of Me), ‘Idolo’ (Idol), ‘Salinas’ (Salt Flats), ‘Turkmani’, ‘Mi Luisa’ (My Luisa), ‘A Mi Compare Morao’ (To My Friend Morao), ‘Teheran’ (Tehran) and ‘Maestro Riqueni’.
The venue is located on the fourth floor, Aryan Building, Niloufar Dead-end, South Bahar Street, off Enqelab Avenue. Tickets are available at the website of the organizing institute Iransorna.com.
