Painter Marzieh Fakhr has criticized the pretentious lifestyle of the society in her latest exhibition Still Life - Magic Realism.

The paintings are rendered in rococo style, emphasizing the merely decorative function of many elements in the surrounding world. Artificial beauty, superficial sentiments and exaggerated emotions are demonstrated in an absurdly charming way, according to Gallery Info.

Rococo is an early to late 18th-century French artistic movement and style, affecting many aspects of the arts.  It was developed in the early 18th century in Paris as a reaction against the grandeur, symmetry, and strict regulations of the Baroque architectural style.

Art Gallery 14 located at No. 14, Khark Street, Enqelab Avenue is the venue.
