‘Abscess’ World Debut in Peru

The social drama ‘Abscess’ directed by Iran filmmakers Armin Tahmasbi and Ali Bateni, had its world premiere at the Cuzco Underground Cinema Festival (CUCIF) in Cuzco, a city in southeastern Peru, November 8-12.
Festival categories include fiction, animation, documentary and experimental movies. Abscess is an experimental film that deals with a young couple whose lives are deeply affected by addiction and drug abuse. Each new day in their troubled life gets darker until they decide to find a way out of their predicament, Iran Student Correspondents Association (ISCA News) reported.
Cast includes Ali Ardalan, Sousan Azizollahi, Asef Rasouli, Tina Mousavi, Roya Qanbari, Raouf Rezai, Rasoul Mohammadi, Sepanta Sokouti, Amin Mohseni, Alireza Ahmadi, Saeed Jafari, Majid Ahmadi and Arman Tahmasbi.
