About Getting Lost

Actress Elnaz Shakerdoust together with actor Amir Jafari will lead the play ‘Gom-o-Gour’ (literally meaning to get lost) on stage from November 12.
Shakerdoust, who is quite popular in Iran cinema for her roles in commercial films, is taking part in a theatrical work for the first time.
She first appeared on screens in 2005. Her noteworthy movies include ‘Two Sisters’ (2008), ‘Scandal’ (2012) and ‘Taboo’ (2014). Her acting in ‘Singles’ (2004) and ‘Who Killed Amir?’ (2005) qualified her for nominations in two Iran Cinema Celebration Awards for the best actress in a supporting role.
Penned and directed by Amir Mohandesian, ‘Gom-o-Gour’ is set in a cemetery. However, according to the director, the main theme of this realist play is birth, highlighted in contrast with death.
The rest of the ensemble includes Kaveh Ebrahim, Alireza Zare-Parast, Fardin Shah-Hosseini, Samaneh Aqa-Zamani, Tiwall.com reported.
Iranshahr Theater Hall is close to Iranian Artists Forum, Artists Garden, N. Mousavi St., Taleqani Ave. and will show the play till December 15.
