Intricate Investigation

Shahram Mokri’s third feature film ‘Invasion’ starts screening at ten selected cinemas from November 6.

In the crime drama, someone’s been murdered and the police are investigating in a stadium, the crime spot. They have arrested a suspect and try to find out the manner of the killing. However, the investigation gets complicated as the victim’s friends try to hide a secret.

Abed Abest, Elaheh Bakhsi, Babak Karimi, Levon Haftvan and Pedram Sharifi play in the film along with a large number of lesser-known theater actors.

Farhang Cinema, Iranian Artists Forum, Cinema Museum as well as Charsou and Kourosh cineplexes are the venues showing the movie in Tehran.

Mokri gained international acclaim for his second film ‘Fish & Cat’ (2013), a mystery/horror drama which won many awards across the globe and suggested the advent of a technically talented filmmaker as the whole movie, running for 134 minutes, was shot in a single take.
