The Kurdish music band ‘Tarang’ is to stage a concert on November 24 in Tehran.

Andisheh Hall of Hozeh-Honari (Art Bureau), located at the intersection of Hafez Avenue and Somayyeh Street will host the folk performance, ISNA reported.

Led by kamancheh player Borzou Amiri, the ensemble will play a repertoire of Kurdish songs and other Iranian ethnic pieces.

The concert will start at 6 pm. Celebrated vocalist Nooreddin Bazleh will sing at the event. Sajjad Saqai plays oud and Kaveh Kalhornia is on divan, a Kurdish instrument in the family of tanbur.

Other musicians are Majid Alizadeh on tonbak, Ali Bashardoust on santur, Payam Amir Bahonar on tar, Milad Daval and Asieh Ahmadi on daf and dohol, Mohsen Keyhan-Nejad on balaban and surna, as well as Mitra Zolfi who plays qeychak.
