250 Iranian Titles at Istanbul Book Fair

Iran is participating in the 36th edition of Istanbul International Book Fair that opens today.
During the nine-day event, Iran will show 250 titles in different genres, namely literature, poetry, art, Iranology, and religion for children and adults, Mehr News Agency reported.
Morteza Karbalaeilou, Iranian writer, and representative of POl Literary and Translation Agency will meet book enthusiasts at the pavilion.
Founded in 2005, POL is a full-service agent that translates Iranian books and represents Persian language publishers, authors and illustrators on the international scene.
Iran’s pavilion will help introduce the Iranian publishing industry and the  Tehran International Book Fair to foreign publishers by handing out brochures and catalogues in English and Turkish.
Held annually for ten days in May, the TIBF is a major cultural event where publishers from all over the world along with domestic participants take part and display new titles on assorted subjects.
