‘The Fountain’, a 2006 science-fiction written and directed by Darren Aronofsky, is to be screened at Qolhak Cineplex on Oct. 25 at 9:30 p.m..
It narrates the story of a man, Tom (played by Hugh Jackman) who travels through time on a quest for immortality, to save the woman (Rachel Weisz) he loves.
As a 16th-century conquistador, Tom searches for the legendary Fountain of Youth. As a present-day scientist, he desperately struggles to cure the cancer that is killing his wife.
