‘An Administration of the Second Gender’ is the title of a play currently being staged at Iranshahr Theater.
Written and directed by Asghar Khalili, the play is an account of the role of women in politics during the reign of Nassereddin Shah Qajar, king of Iran from 1848 to 1896, Tiwall.com reported.
The diverse cast comprises Saba Kamali, Farzin Mohades, Mohammad Sedighi-Mehr, Masoumeh Karimi, Hamidreza Kazemipur, Behzad Mohseni, Hamed Nezami, Sepideh Jafari, Shahla Rahimi and Mahdi Afsharian. The 70-minute show will be on stage through November 6, at the theater located at Art Garden, N. Mousavi St., Taleqani St.
