A one-day tour to one of the oldest villages of Iran is being organized by Kalout Travel (Kalouttravel.com) on Oct. 20.

The ancient village of Abyaneh in Natanz County, Isfahan Province, is the first destination of the tour.

Rendezvous is set for Friday at 5 am at Fatemi Street in central Tehran near Laleh Hotel. Breakfast will be served at a roadside restaurant. The tour should reach Abyaneh before noon. Visitors are guided around the red village and after lunch will be on the road to the city of Kashan where they will see the historical Fin Garden.

Fin is a charming Persian garden. Completed in 1590, it is said to be the oldest extant garden in Iran. Within it lies the Fin Bath, where Amir Kabir (1807-1852), a Qajar chief minister, was murdered.

Shades and sunglasses will come in handy. The tour will be back at night.
