Rassam Lordakani, a young Iranian musician was awarded for scoring the music for the Italian short film ‘Magari fossi nato nel 40’ or ‘I wish I was born in the 40s’ at the Vision Film Festival 2014.
The film was adjudged the best film, and also won in cinematography, IRNA reported on Wednesday.
Lordakani, the 27-year-old guitarist, has won various prizes in his home country for solo guitar performances.
Further, the film was also awarded for its script on the economic adversities of contemporary life in Italy.
