House of Alba

An adaptation of the play ‘The House of Bernarda Alba’, written by the Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca, is on at Shahrzad Theater with Roya Asadi as director.  The play centers around the events of a house during a period of mourning, in which Bernarda Alba, aged 60, wields total control over her five daughters.
The cast includes Shahin Alizadeh, Alieh Sharifi, Zahra Zamani, Dorsa Shahrestani, Nastaran Safavi, Pante’a Pakzad and Marjan Rousta, Tiwall.com reported.
The 75-minute performance will run through November 3 at the theater located at the intersection of Neauphle-le-Chateau and Razi streets.
