Former POW

Tehran Theater Campus is hosting the play ‘Majnoun’ (someone deeply in love) directed by Omid Yarandi.
Written by Somayeh Najafi-Khatouni, it narrates the story of Mahdi, a former POW of the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, who now passes his time in a mental asylum. He is about to be released when an old comrade of his commits suicide, Tiwall.com reported.
Omid Yarandi, Mohamad-Moein Farahani, Maryam Ansari, Mahdi Mohseni, Peyman Zakipur and Mohamad Behtarirad are in the cast among others.
Located in Khavaran neighborhood, southeast Tehran, the play will be shown until October 31.
