The Iranian Academy of Arts, affiliated to the presidential office, has set up an expo on specialized books in art and literature.
The fair is organized under the auspices of Matn Institute, the publishing house of the academy, tasked with production, translation, publication and distribution of art books, according to honar.ac.ir, the website of the academy.
‘Academy of Arts Book Fair’, the expo opens Saturday and will run through October 18 at Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. Visiting hours are 9 am to 4 pm. More than 400 titles will be on display. Subjects include architecture and urban development, aesthetics and philosophy of art, visual arts, literature, handicrafts, performing arts, history of art and theoretical discussions. Books will be offered at 30% discount.
