Written by Mohammad Charmshir, the play ‘Sleepy Eyes Shut’ is on show at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) and will run through October 25.
An adaptation of a story titled ‘My Son the Murderer’ by Bernard Malamud (1914-1986) American novelist and short story writer, it is directed by Hesam Mohammadi and Hamed Ghasemi, Tiwall.com reported.
The play is in the form of dialogues among three nameless members of a family, who are called upon by their titles, mother, girl, and boy. They seem to have become strangers for each other since a long time ago. Their talks are focused on an absent father.
The IAF is located at Artists Park on Iranshahr Street.
