Hamlet Abstract

‘Gertrude and Ghost of Hamlet’s Father’, written and directed by Seyed Meysam Motahari is an Iranian play on the stage at Molavai Hall until October 13.

Motahari’s work is an abridged version of Shakespeare’s well-known play ‘Hamlet’ but has fewer characters compared to the original text. The cast includes Tanaz Tehrani, Behnam Hassanpur, Lotfollah Kargari-Arian and Behnam Aram.

Hamlet is the focus of the Shakespearean play. However, in Motahari’s work Hamlet’s mother is the focal point,  Tiwall.com reported.
