The fourth exhibition of paintings by famous Iranian poet and lyricist Maryam Heydarzadeh, titled ‘After All Those Regrets’ is to be inaugurated on October 6 at Shokouh Art Gallery in Tehran.  In her previous exhibits, she showcased works on the subject of nature by watercolor and acrylic techniques, Honaronline reported. What makes her unique and distinguishes her among other poets and painters is that she is blind. Due to loss of eyesight, many were doubtful that the artworks were really hers. So she decided to create some pieces in the presence of skeptics and prove her talent. Heydarzadeh, 40, is known for her simple, yet deep poetry, which is almost always about the state of being in love. The probity and straightforwardness in her poetry and the explicit sense to life expressed in her pieces have contributed immensely to her popularity among Iranians in and outside the country.  Her first book came out in 1998 and since then she has published 10 more books mostly poetry, but also has works of prose. The gallery, located at No. 19, Amir Nouri Alley, Northern Salimi Street, Andarzgou Blvd., Farmanieh, will host the exhibit through October 11.
