Seven cinemas in Tehran are screening the 99-minute film ‘Little Heroes’, directed by Hossein Ghana’at.

Made in 2016, it is about four children whose fathers have been laid off due to the difficult financial conditions of the stationery factory they were worked for. The factory is forced to cut its payroll  because the stationery market is flooded with illegal imports and contraband. Throughout the story the children do all they can to fight against the illegal goods to help revive the factory, Cinematicket.org wrote.

According to the director, ‘Little Heroes’ aims at raising awareness about the adverse effects of smuggling an d the need to support domestic producers.

Borzou Arjmand, Bijan Banafshekhah, Behnoush Bakhtiari, Anahita Hemati, Arjang Amirfazli and Nader Soleimani are in the cast.
