Avant-garde painter and illustrator Milad Moosavi has shown his wild imaginations in a solo exhibit of paintings and drawings underway at the art gallery of Dastan’s Basement.
In a note on the exhibit, Moosavi, 30, says that his father’s dreams and visions have shaped the nucleus of his works, according to the website of the gallery, Dastangallery.com.
Most of the paintings are acrylic on cardboard with surreal subjects. The exhibit opened September 22 and will run through October 6. Dastan’s Basement is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Visiting hours are 11 am to 7 pm.
The gallery is located at No. 6, Bidar Street, Fereshteh Street.
