An English speaking tour of the ancient city of Rey in southern Tehran is slated for September 2. Safir English Language Academy, with branches across Iran, has organized the tour which will be led by one of the academy’s instructors who will speak English while guiding the group, according to the website of Tiwall (tiwall.com) where tickets are available. The tour starts at 9 am, picking up visitors at Qolhak branch of the academy located at No. 31, Yazdanian Street, Shariati Street. Destinations are Cheshmeh-Ali, an ancient recreational spot north of Rey; Tughrul Tower, a 20-meter tall brick tower from the 12th century; and the old Ebn-Babuway Cemetery.
