Proposal

Playwright, theater director and actress Mahleqa Meynoushzad has written and directed a short play named ‘Proposal’ (in Persian: Khastegari). The play is underway at Bazigah Theater. It opened September 12 and will run through September 22 each evening starting at 7 pm. Cast members are Mohammad Gorgin and Bita Asghari. The play is a story about a peasant girl who falls in love with Marco Polo, the globally known merchant traveler from Venice, Italy. ‘Proposal’ is a 50-minute romantic comedy.
