Painter Arena Zeynalian has ventured into her innermost thoughts and feelings returning with 18 paintings presently on display at Farda Art Gallery. ‘The Subconscious Mind’ opened September 15 and will run through September 21. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 pm, Tasnim News Agency reported. According to Zeynalian, the works are a series of abstract expressionist paintings. In them, she has tried to depict a number of her subconscious concepts with a playful display of colors. Abstract expressionism was developed in New York in the 1940s and 50s. Farda Art Gallery is located at No. 20, A’rabi Street 6th, Hosseini Street, Karim Khan Blvd.
